Congratulations to Coach James Byrd and the SCA ‘A’ Chess Team who traveled to Greensboro and brought home the GAPPS state championship trophy! This is SCA’s second state championship in chess in the past three years. Team members include seniors Andrew Orr, Charlie Taylor, Patrick Burke, and junior Will Mahnken. Way to go gentlemen!
